Every MG sport seat has aggressive side bolsters — the lateral wings that hold you in place during cornering. They’re one of the things that makes the MG interior feel more driver-focused than the price suggests.
They’re also the reason every generic seat cover looks terrible within a week.
Universal covers are cut flat. On a wing-bolster seat, the fabric bridges the gap between the wings instead of wrapping them. The result: the cover lifts off the seat surface, creases across the bolsters, slides during entry and exit, and looks unmistakably aftermarket from the moment you sit down.
We built MGS-001 to solve exactly that.
What’s different about MGS-001
MGS-001 is pattern-cut to the specific geometry of MG sport seats. The bolster contours are mapped into the cut — not stretched over, not bridged. The result is a cover that sits flush against the seat surface, follows the wing shape, and looks like it came from the factory.

Honest answers to the questions we always get
Are the wing bolsters physically locked?
The cover uses clip anchors at the backrest-saddle junction and under the seat base. The saddle wings use a contoured wrap — no clips, but in normal daily driving they don’t shift. If you grab a wing and pull, you’ll feel give: that’s the wrap moving with the seat, not a defect.
Is this genuine leather?
No — and almost no seat cover on the market is, including many marketed as leather. We use a PU leather and Ice Silk blend that runs cooler in summer, doesn’t crack in UV, and wipes clean in seconds. We chose it deliberately, not as a cost-cutting compromise.
How long does it last?
The founder has used the same prototype on his MG ZS for over two years of daily driving. It still looks factory-fitted.

Si monta facilmente, sta in posizione, il tessuto centrale è sicuramente più fresco dell’originale. Mi hanno chiesto di essere onesto quindi tolgo una stella perché non esiste ancora la versione per i sedili posteriori. I sedili sul retro son già segnati e volevo qualcosa di decente pure li.

I sedili originali mi piacciono molto, non volevo coprirli con quelle schifezze di coprisedili che prendi al supermercato. Questo coprisedile si adatta bene, rimane in posizione e protegge bene le ali. Ho verificato che il canale dell’airbag laterale sia libero prima di montarlo e sembra tutto ok. Materiale di qualità, ho preso le cuciture rosse perchè fa più sportivo.
